The month of September was busy for Adams Wealth Charities, and we had the privilege of hosting two incredible community events. Here is a recap of these events:
Drive In Movie Night for Jump the Moon
Our drive-in movie event was a huge success! This event was hosted in our new Adams Wealth building parking lot, and we sold-out every spot, raising over $3,000 for Jump the Moon. Jump the moon is a nonprofit organization that offers art-making opportunities to individuals with disabilities here in Cache Valley. Jurassic Park was the featured film and we had attendees from all over the valley. It was a night of fun, and we enjoyed kicking off fall with so many members of the community!
First Responders Meet and Greet with Alex Boye
September is Suicide Awareness month, and we had the privilege of co-sponsoring a celebratory meet and greet with Alex Boye for first responders with Cache County. Devastatingly, there has been an uptick in suicides in our communities over the last year, and our first responders have witnessed much of this pain and sorrow.
“I wanted to do something for our first responders because they are the ones I’m hearing from and seeing the trauma that they’re experiencing by dealing with this epidemic,” County Executive David Zook told the Herald Journal. “They are dealing with very difficult things on a daily basis. I thought if we’re gonna have this event, we should allow them a space to talk and share their experiences and have some enjoyment with Alex Boyé.”
We were grateful to participate in this amazing event, and provide an evening of fun for these deserving first responders.
We are so appreciative of the support we have received this fall with our Adams Wealth Charities events. Our great community continues to amaze us, and we loved spending so much time with so many of you this month! We have one final event planned this fall, our Trunk or Treat for the Family Place. Our Adams Wealth Charities website recently went through an upgrade, and we invite you to visit it to learn more about our mission, upcoming events and how you can get involved: https://www.awacharities.org/.
