Arun is the managing director of Investment Research and Technology and our Chief Technology Officer.
Having held senior positions in leadership, portfolio management, investment research, and technology strategy/architecture, Arun brings a wealth of expertise and strategic insight to his role. Before joining Adams, Arun oversaw investment management and technology strategy at Schwab’s high-net worth advisory offering with more than 160 billion AUM. Prior to Schwab, Arun worked on quantitative investing teams at Wellington Management Company and Acadian Asset Management in Boston. His technical proficiency and in-depth knowledge of industry dynamics have given him the ability to lead creative solutions and produce successful outcomes.
Arun holds an S.M. in engineering and management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia. His undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering is from Shivaji University, India. He is a CFA charterholder.
Arun enjoys travel and experiencing other cultures. When he’s not at work or on the road, you can find him curled up with a good book, hooked on a podcast or going on a hike with his wife in the nearby Middlesex Fells in Winchester, Massachusetts.
