One of the most well-known faces at Adams Wealth Advisors is Riley Crosbie, Senior Advisor and Partner.
Riley is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Utah. He also holds the NSSA certification, making him a specialist in social security retirement planning. Riley has been with Adams Wealth Advisors since 2015 and is a crucial leader for our team.
His primary role as a Senior Advisor is to care for and serve our clients in helping them identify and meet their retirement and financial needs. He works closely with our other advisors and team members in developing and presenting financial plans and communicating our unique, and tailored investment strategies. He is most grateful for the lasting relationships he is able to build with our tremendous clients and their families.
Prior to joining Adams Wealth, Riley worked as an independent financial planner. Before this, he spent the first two years of his career working as a public accountant, assisting individuals with their tax needs. Riley received his master’s degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Personal Financial Planning from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, and also served in leadership positions for the student chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
Recently, Riley was asked to return to campus as an adjunct professor to teach the Personal Financial Planning Capstone course beginning in the Fall of 2020. He is excited for the opportunity to be with the next wave of young financial planners and give back to the university and the financial planning profession.
Riley is passionate about playing an active role in our community. He volunteers weekly with the Cache Food Pantry’s Backpack Program, which provides packed breakfast and lunch for elementary age children to eat on the weekends while at home. Many of these children come from low-income families, where parents work on the weekend and aren’t home to help their children prepare these meals. If you are interested in getting involved with this amazing program, Riley would love to tell you more about it and his experience volunteering there. You can also learn more about the program here: https://cachefoodpantry.com/backpack/.
Riley is a Cache Valley native, and he & his family reside in Providence. Riley’s wife Whitney is a Kindergarten teacher, and they have two darling daughters, Cora and Lola. Riley enjoys traveling with his family and experiencing new things, and you can usually find him planning their next adventure. He has also discovered a newfound love for reading. So, if you have book recommendations, send them his way!
A devoted sports fan, Riley loves following whatever sport is in season. He is an especially avid college football fan, and has had the opportunity to travel to some iconic stadiums including “The Big House” at the University of Michigan, the LA Coliseum, and he attended the most recent Fiesta Bowl.
We are grateful for Riley’s leadership here at Adams Wealth Advisors, and his care for our incredible clients!
